Ingredients:
1 box of 500 grams of cornflakes
250 grams of salted butter
3 tbspn of golden syrup
2 tbspn of raw honey
2 tbspn of caster sugar
100 grams almond bits
- small baking cups ( makes about 200 cups)
Methods:
1. Pre-heat the oven at 160 °C. Crush the cornflakes a little and add the almond bits, mix well and set aside.
2. Melt butter in a saucepan under medium heat. Once butter has melted, add the golden syrup, honey & sugar and stir well until they're fully dissolved.
3. Cool down the mixture for about 15 minutes. While waiting, arrange the cups on a baking tray. Pour the melted butter mixture over the cornflakes and mix thoroughly.
4 Spoon the mixture in the cups and bake for about 10-15 minutes till they turn golden as shown in the picture above. Cool the honey cornflakes on a cooling rack and store them in an airtight container.
